Steve Torgerson began improvising over 10 years ago with the Canadian Improv Games where he visited the National Tournament in 1997. He is a founding member of General Fools Improvisational Theatre.

He has been instrumental in the development of the forms Odyssey, charACTOR and most notably, Natalie, which was inspired by the birth of his daughter. Steve has studied under notable North American Improv instructors Alistair Cook (Vancouver - !nstant Theatre), and Scott Florence (Ottawa - Clown, Mask & Movement based improvisation).

Steve has also performed in Vancouver with !nstant Theatre and in Ryan Stiles' Up-front Theatre in Bellingham Washington. Steve was very excited to perform with and meet all the fantastic companies from last year's General Fools Festival and is even more excited for the 2010 festival.
