ROB APPLEBY


Rob Appleby began improvising in 1994 with the Canadian Improv Games.  He is a founding member of General Fools Improvisational Theatre and has performed in several Improv Festivals across Canada and the USA.  Through his travels, he has performed on stages as far away as Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia.  He can be seen performing regularly with Combat Improv, Mix Improv and General Fools in Regina.


Rob holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Regina where he first started writing plays.  Recently, he has been teaching improv, drama and Playwriting at the Globe Theatre School.


Rob has studied under notable North American Improv instructors Randy Dixon (Seattle - Unexpected Productions), Alistair Cook (Vancouver -

!nstant Theatre), Steve Sim (Winnipeg - CRUMBS), Bob Dassie (L.A. - Trio, Quartet, Baby wants Candy) and Scott Florence (Ottawa - Clown, Mask & Movement based improvisation).
