MICHAL GRAJEWSKI
Born in Poland, raised in Winnipeg, Michal now resides in Toronto, where he performs regularly with Ghost Jail Theatre as a core cast member. A graduate of the University of Manitoba Film and Theatre Programme, Michal has been an active member of Canada's Improv Community, primarily in Winnipeg and Toronto. He has trained with many renowned improvisers including Steve Sim (CRUMBS, Winnipeg), Alistair Cook (!nstant Theatre, Vancouver), Randy Dixon (Unexpected Productions, Seattle), Mick Napier, Joe Bill, Mark Sutton (Annoyance Theatre, Chicago), Bob Dassie (I.O. WEST) and the late Del Close (I.O. Chicago) among many, many others.
Festival Appearances include: IF Winnipeg Improv Festival (2000-2004, 2008), Vancouver International Improv Festival (2004, 2007, 2009), Chicago Improv Festival (2001), Calgary Improv Brier (2009), PROJECTproject Combustion Festival, Toronto (2009, 2010), and Rapidfire Theatre's Improvaganza, Edmonton (2009).
An alumni of the Canadian Improv Games, Michal has taught workshops, facilitated tournaments, was the Assistant Regional Director of both the Winnipeg and Toronto tournaments from 2003-2004 and 2005-2008, respectively, and makes the annual trip down under to be a trainer at Improv Camp Australia.
Recent film and television credits include Repo Men (Universal Pictures), House Party (Comedy Network), The Rick Mercer Report (CBC), as well as numerous nationally-run television commercials.
