General Fools Improvisational Theatre is a registered not-for-profit organization that has been providing Southern Saskatchewan art-based improvisational theatre for 12 seasons (beginning May 17, 1997).  They have performed for over 60,000 audience members in over 600 performances. Though based in Regina, the General Fools have also performed extensively across Canada and parts of the United States. Several of the ensemble members have been actively improvising with each other for over 15 years.

General Fools Improvisational Theatre approaches improvisation with the same professionalism and commitment as a playwright or actor would a written script.  Collectively, the ensemble members act as writer, director, dramaturge and performer each and every time they step on stage.
