AMY MATYSIO Making her mark on the Canadian comedy scene, Amy Matysio is a three time Canadian Comedy award nominee, and is a Canadian Improv Games alumnus who has been a member of the General Fools since 1997. Having played with the ensemble in all fourteen seasons, she has toured numerous North American festivals with the company, and has also been a mainstage player with the renowned Vancouver TheatreSports League. An award-winning actress, stage credits include her recent acclaimed work in The Syringa Tree, Girl in the Goldfish Bowl, George Dandin, Cinderella (Globe Theatre), the smash hit Mr.Marmalade, Pageant (Hot House Theatre), and Burn and The Shape of Things (Theatre Ecstasis). Appearances in Film and TV include New Line Cinema's Just Friends, Mulligans, Corner Gas, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Sleepwalking, Finn on the Fly, the Stephen King thriller Dolan's Cadillac, and is now in development on her half hour comedy series inSAYSHAble with Minds Eye Entertainment. Amy also frequently lends her voice to regional and national radio comedy, drama and commercial work. She co-wrote First Generation Urbanite with fellow Fools, Pfeifer and Appleby, which aired as a comedy pilot for CBC radio.
